Turkey Attacked By Earth Quake with Magnitude 7.3!

A 7.3 magnitude earthquake hit eastern Turkey strong on Sunday, the collapse of 45 buildings in the Deputy Minister. Only one death was confirmed immediately, but scientists estimate that up to 1,000 people may have died. The worst damage was caused to the city of Erciş mountain in the eastern province of Van, near the border with Iran. The city of Van also suffered considerable damage. Earthquake’s epicenter was in the Tabanli village. “We estimate a death toll between 500 and 1000,” Mustafa Erdik, director of the Kandilli Observatory said in a televised news conference. His estimate was based on the structure of houses in the region and the strength of the earthquake. The Turkish Red Crescent said his rescuers pulled more people out of the dormitory collapsed in ERCIS, located on a geological fault line.
