Jr. NTR's Dammu Movie Review!

Dammu Movie Review:

Starring:  Jr. NTR, Trisha Krishnan, Karthika Nair, Abhinaya, Venu Thottempudi, Bhanupriya, Nazar, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Ahuti Prasad, Vijay Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Ranganath.

Direction :  Boyapati Srinu.
Music :  Keeravani.
Producer :  Alexander Vallabha.
Banner :  Creative Commercial’s.

Story:

Movie starts with fight scene between Suman (Vasireddy) and Nazar families. Both families indulge in killing each others for to get power in their village. Nazar kills one by one in the suman’s family. So He is the uncontested villain for next twenty five years.

NTR will be seen in two different characters in this movie one is “Rama Chandra” and another one is “Raja Vijaya Simha”. After twenty five years Veera Durgam (Kota Srinivasa Rao) adopts Rama Chandra (NTR) an orphan and introduces him to the suman family and vilagers as “Raja Vijaya Simha” as a heir to suman (Vasireddy) family. He falls love with Ashwini (Trisha)

How Raja Vijaya Simha wins the hearts of the villagers and family members and stops the violence in the village is the rest of the story.

Performance:

NTR has always been someone for the screen. He at least lacks the awkward presence unlike our more recent star kids. And with the years he has also grown into a more complete Telugu star and doesn’t need comedians in lots to provide the lighter moments. He had done his part, lesser clichés can bring out better.

Nassar does well to keep the other end interesting in spite of the bad make up. Kishore (the frustrated cop from Happy) is wasted in a role which had absolutely no lines. Not that we put our acting resources to good use.

Verdict:

The movie is good for fans and mass movie lovers. Overall the movie is good to watch once.

Underworld Awakening Movie Review and Photo Gallery!

 Underworld Awakening Movie Review:

January 2012 is Kate Beckinsale month. Unofficially. But the beautiful actress has two films coming out back-to-back – who does she think she is, Steven Spielberg? – and that’s more than enough reason for us to celebrate her talents. We’ll have plenty on Contraband as its release date approaches. And for Underworld enthusiasts, we just added 9 new images to our gallery of Underworld: Awakening shots.

Underworld Awakening" brings a stunning new dimension to the epic battle between Vampires and Lycans, as the first film in the franchise to shoot in 3D. Kate Beckinsale, star of the first two films, returns in her lead role as the vampire warrioress Selene, who escapes imprisonment to find herself in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans, and are conducting an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species.

But really, all Beckinsale fans need to know is that she’s wearing the black leather, and she’s brandishing hand cannons. I do like that flamethrower-wielding psychopath who has Selene pinned in the third picture. Maybe the humans won’t be such pushovers in this sequel, and the vamps and werewolves will have an actual fight on their hands.

Movie Review:

After a fairy tale wedding, leaving Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) for a honeymoon just as delicious to a remote destination. The honeymoon is cut short when Bella discovers she is pregnant and a half-vampire baby to come. Her frail body could hardly cope with rapidly changing body and add to the problems of the couple are aggressive werewolves who are Hell Bent to stop the introduction of the new arrival. Can old friend Jacob (Taylor Lautner) save the day? More importantly, can Edward and Bella are the proud parents of a new species ...

Bella (Kristen Stewart) has played her role concisely for two years as the irresistible human entree of Edward Cullen’s eye (Robert Pattinson), but now their love, having overcome many typical obstacles, has resulted in marriage, where this film begins.  Edward and Bella go on their honeymoon, which, despite resulting in the conception of their demon spawn, is really quite humorous and quenches the audience’s thirst to see the duo finally act like a normal hormone-driven teenage couple.

One pint of fresh blood is pumped in love in the body of the Twilight movie-monster for installation penultimate, writes Georgina Watson. In this desire dropper, emotional play of a supernatural thriller, the young couple of vampire Edward Cullen and Bella prepare for their toughest battle to date - the first year of marriage. From each of the three movies before that, with the book, Breaking Dawn Part One owes its success to all the fantasies of the popularity of adolescent sexual desire and love of the soul that it consumes.

Tollywood : Sega Movie Review

The Movie, which is to be very self-aware in a very targeted end. Anjana Ali Khan, whose debut "Veppam" was released in Telugu as "Saw" Today was a big hole. The public flocked to the theaters to get a glimpse of the couple screen shot of Nani and Nitya. Published admist a massive advertising and Hungama, Sega will also Dwarfs Tamil Movie debut. We saw this film today, and here we think ...

Balaji and Karthik is brothers.Unable support the torture of her husband (Jyothi), their mother commits suicide. Balaji to be the oldest, takes care of his brother (Nani) Karthik. Their prosperity is guaranteed by their neighbor who has a hoarding painter. Karthik grow with Revati (Nitya), daughter of the painter. Jyothi is a broker and the execution of a prostitute house Karthik wants to manage his business. But Balaji Jyothi Karthik and far. Vishnu, who is the son of a mechanic's best friend Karthik. He falls in love with Veena (Bindu Madhavi) a prostitute in business Jyothi. To exit the business of prostitution Veena Jyothi, Vishnu agrees to deliver a package of drugs given by Jyothi. He watching his best friend in this transaction with Karthik. The rest of the story is how Jyothi Karthik playing with life and how it compares Balaji to save his brother.

The first half had its moments of subtle humor, beautiful places and the costumes right. What he lacked the finishing touch to enhance the actor around (when you throw someone, hit them as you believe). And even the players are not completely to blame, it Gautham Menonish voiceover and a lot of conversations called evil be credited. Sends you a smile. You are out of a sip of Coca-Cola, and you think to yourself, while constantly listening to the criticism of others around.

Nani and recreate their magic Modalaindi Nitya Wing "on the screen. Their chemistry is remarkable and of great value to this Movie. Nitya look cute and realistic in super role.Bindu Madhavi steals the show with his role as a prostitute. Although space on the screen is smaller, leaves an impact with his role.Infact compared, Bindu Madhavi stole the show. Despite being the first Movie to a large number of votes that another star, it was a decent work. None of the actors in this movie will disappoint.

Shashank Vennelakanti dialogues of this movie is well written. For example, the father asks Dwarfs, "bandi Tholathava, Thooluthava". Music Joshwa Sridhar is a good compromise. Audio of this movie is worth buying the CD. All the songs in this album are melodic and fun. The photographer needs a pat on the back and do a great job. Even if the script is a disaster, a strange narrative is its director and cast interesting.Kudos sense.

Current Movie Review

Current Film Review

Current (2009)

Rating : 3/5
Cast: Sushanth, Sneha Ullal, Tanikella Bharani, Brahmanandam, Charan Raj, Raghubabu, Shafi, Melkote, Sudha,

Reshmi, Jhansi, Shakeela, etc.
Banner : Sri Nag Corporation
Story: Surya Prathap
Story Development: Chintalapudi Sreenivasa Rao
Camera: Vijay C. Kumar
Fights: Kanal Kannan
Music: Devi Sri Prasad
Editing: Marthand K. Venkatesh
Costumes: A. Naga Susheela
Producer: A. Naga Susheela, Chintalapudi Sreenivasa Rao
Story, Screenplay, Direction: Surya Prathap (debut)

Story:

A complicated portrayed tale, the story begins with Sneha (sneha)who is studying in college, daughter of a judge (charanraj). Her life takes a turn with the arrival of Sushanth(sushanth) who falls in love with her at first sight. He starts following her and finally Sneha also develops feelings for him.Sushanth is a carefree youth who doesn't worry about yesterdays, tomorrows and lives in the "current" moment and does not believe in planning and has a very lazy approach towards life.He shows the same attitude in front of Sneha's father when he meets him.As expected, Sneha's father gives his piece of mind and Sushanth walks away getting offended,he does not listen to Sneha either.Sneha's dad (Charan Raj) notes that Sushanth is totally irresponsible, and Sneha asks Sushanth to change his attitude for their love but Sushanth says he'd not. This leads to their separation.Sneha comes back to him and admits he created love in her mind and thus he should take it off tooTherefore, she tells Sushanth that since he was responsible for raising feelings in her, now he must ensure that she gets rid of that feeling called love. What does Sushanth do now? does he really love her?

what happens to the love story between Bose (vennela kishore) and Geetha (geetha)? All this forms the rest

of the story.

Presentation:

The director was attempted to come up with a twisted tale of romance and responsiblity of life though the presentation was okay, it was the narrative that turned to be a let down. The dialogues were too weak, the
script was not written with conviction and the screenplay was average. The music was so-so and two songs
were worth humming. The story point - of male lead erasing the love in the female lead's mind because he
originally created it - may be seen to be novel conceptually, but the director fails in bringing the novelty into
the visual treatment. With routine family backdrops and routine scenes, the first half is just average. The
second half drags on too, spare some comedy. On the whole, the translation from ink to celluloid is where the film fails.

Music department is just okay, with only two appreciable songs. Editing is the asset of the film. Vijay C. Kumar tries to bring as much color and life into the visuals as is possible. Production values have not been compromised for quality, and the producers are involved more than with producing (one with costumes and another with story development), proving that they want to make a sincere attempt. Debutant director Surya Prathap, who assisted Allari Ravibabu and Sukumar in the past, only comes up with a passable impression through his direction of Current.Cinematography was reasonable and editing was needed at few points but got brittle. Costumes were apt and the art department was also effective. Coming to the cast, Sushanth has got a set of expressions and he does not come out of them, he needs to work on being more flexible with that. Sneha Ullal was gorgeous as usual and so was her body language which required more feel. Geetha looked beautiful and she has got good scope. Vennela Kishore was neat, Tanikella was upto the mark, Charanraj did not have much to do, Brahmanandam was just okay, the others did their bit as required.

Conclusion:

Current has a seemingly novel concept but falters in presenting it well. The hero's improved avatar is
appreciable. The film looked to be a romantic entertainer but then the twists and the theme of the movie got so thick that at one point, the audience fails to understand what exactly about the story that theis no message. There were a few points which were questionable. The movie has good moments, the consistency was lacking. Overall, the film is good in parts but it could have been better if comedy and the emotion part was focused more. This is a treat for the youth audience mostly.Current has a seemingly novel concept butfalters in presenting it well. The hero's improved avatar is appreciable, and so are the departments of camera, editing, and production. On the whole, it's a passable film. This is a treat for the youth audience mostly

Boni movie Review

Movie : BONI

Vebtoday Rating : 2.25/5
Banner : Green Mangoes Cinema
Cast : Sumanth, Krithi, Trinetrudu, Tanikella, Jayaprakash Reddy, Ahuti Prasad, Chandramohan, Babloo, Velu, Satyaprakash, Sudha, Surekha Vani and Others
Cinematography : Andrew
Music : Ramana Gogula
Producer: Ramana Gogula
Director: Raj Pippala
Released Date: June 12, 2009

Story:

A story with a regular epic Drama, The Story Moves Around Pragathi(Krithi) Home Minisrer’s(Ahuti Prasad) Daughter. she works with NGO And Wants to Help The Poor Farmers but Her father doesn’t support her and she takes the matter in her own hands. DD(Sumanth) and Chinna(Trinetrudu) who grew up in the orphan age home and there in their childhood they got love and affectionate from saraswatamma(sudha) and she was dead.on her Plea they want to start a ’Pulihora’ centre they 7lakhs for that. and the other end poor farmers have pay the 4 crore debts and Pragathi promises to pay the sum.so she sets a kidnap drama so that sum can be taken to Rescue the farmers, but mysticly she was kidnapped by the DD and chinna on the instructions of Giri(Thanikella) and das(jayaprakash), in the time DD falls in love with Pragathi and he helps her in all the situational problems. What happens in the next is rest of the story.

Presentation:

The director has attempted to come up with a epic drama and simultanuously he Runs a tender romance. Though the presentation was clean and good, the narratiion was not reach the mark. The dialogues, script were dull and weak. the screenplay was at it’s best. Background score was a Extra-ordinary though not many songs were really upbeat or energetic.

The cinematography was top notch while editing was not bad at this time.Costumes and locations were nice and neat, they did a good job too. Sumanth needs to pump in more energy to his performance since he is doing a mass role and shoulders the entire movie throughout. In words he has to improve from there he reached the stage he did well but in the seniorty he need to maintain some levels in talkie part. fights and dance is good. Krithi did her part very well and was completely at ease in front of the camera, she has a very natural sex appeal, Trinetrudu has good expressions and his body language has to be more positive in his first film that telugu film industry got a new comadian. The others like Tanikella (above average) Ahuti (regular) Chandramohan (normal), Jayaprakash (good) etc contributed in their own way. Ramana gogula not only composed music and he involved in Creative design planning and his wife nicolet gogula managed costume designing. Raju pipplla direction is good. but the story was confused kidnap drama, and in the second half for some episodes the starting leads are good. but love in between hero and heroinscenes are not well established.pulihora concept also not worked out it seems like similar to the biryani centre.

Conclusion:

The film has been made with good technical standards but then it was not able to create an impact with the content and the narrative. While the first half goes in a regular manner with the action and song sequences, there is some story in the second half but even that gets over in a jiffy. Sumanth’s attempt at mass roles should be avoided.

The film might run due to the fairly good audio and also the presence of the beautiful Krithi along with the production values, but for those who want some real story and entertainment, this may not suffice.DD and chinna what is their aim and why do so they became kidnappers, why do they need 7 llakh rupees amount to start Pulihora Centre were the big twist and logic to the audience...because audience can’t involve in the story.

He is Tender And will take time for him to get into Rough and tough guy roles since he still has those teen looks. His performance was good and his chemistry with Swetha also worked on the screen. Swetha was not only a Cute and good looks but she has also given a good performance with The Modulation Like' E..k..K..a..d..a', In the Same Way Here 'Ori Nayano' But It Seems Super Fluous In Some Scenes on Silver Screen.Kasi Viswanath looks more fit and Slimmed Down Compared to Nacchavule...! while Ahuti Prasad did not give his full, He has a little Portray Comedy Worked on him and added value in this Movie. Thulasi was alright, Brahmanandam- praveen Combination Made Laughs In The Comedy Tracks For The Audience. others Also did well as required. The First Wiil go in a smooth Drama Quotient and the second half The Story starts and Bike riding and Chasing sequnces are Hilights for the movie. But the Climax is lenghthy Scope to make it short.

PISTA was a much hyped and was released with a High expectations. But the movie’s Script disappoints the Vishal Fans as Well As Audience of Mass n Masala Movie Fan club. The subject looks Old, Stale and Dry. There is nothing New to Expect to the watching crowds. Few Action Sequences and Shriya’s Sexy Appeal 'n' Body Show In the Songs Had Never Seen Before Makes the mass crowds a bit happy.

Story:

The movie starts with a young and dynamic man in the opening frame. He is the hero Murali Krishna (Vishal) who hails from a small town. He is in search of his elder brother who runs away from the dwelling. The reason for his escape is said to be his mother’s anguish. When the hero and the hero’s elder brother are in their child hood days, Murali Krishna’s elder brother pierces a name tattoo of a girl called Meenakshi on his chest. On seeing it, Murali Krishna’s mother (Geeta) thrashes him severely. For this reason, the young boy runs away from the house.

Incidentally, a young beautiful,Charming girl Indu (Shriya) meets Krishna and after some time they both fall in love. Shriya's costumes in the songs are too hot to handle. She looks so Hot and Sexy in this Movie. Meanwhile, there are two noted Rowdy Sheeters in Vizag. who are more than evils and ruling the Vizag. Surya Prakash (Prakash Raj) and another named Guru (Kishore) control the evil deeds in Vizag. Guru is a real estate broker who occupies lands of innocent people.

Vishal somehow gets involved in a brawl with the two gangsters and traces out that the dreaded Rowdy Guru is his elder brother. He tries to convince Guru(His Brother) that his profession is wrong and narrates the whole past of them. He somehow manages to bring out Guru into the good path. But what happens in the end is a suspense which has to be Watch on a Silver screen.

Performances:

Vishal looks Young , handsome, Dynamic and Brave in this movie. In his last Movie He Exposed Himself With Six Pack Boby and as usual offers his 100% to the movie’s storyline. His character is heroic and well enough to be labeled as a perfect man. He is impeccable in performing Action and dancing Sequences.

Shriya adds the Romantic Touch and glamour to the movie With her Skin show and Apeearance in songs. has nothing to worry, she's going to be a glamour doll in this movie. Her tempting costumes raise the temperatures of The Audience Especially Shriya Fans in the theatre. Ironically, most of her costumes display her cleavage to full extent and her naval to a major part. Moreover, the collar bones and the jaw line of her, and her Beautiful Face is a superb addition to her impeccable beauty.

Prakash Raj plays the role of a don perfectly,And Performed Extremely Well in His Role As Usual, but this is for the first time that he is not seen in a Devil role. Tannikella Bharani acts as a support villain Role and plays well his character. Kishore impresses with his sharp features and fine performance. Ali provides ample comic relief in this movie. Telangana Sakuntala is seen in an entertaining role in Telugu movies after a long gap. Other stop-gap Telugu actors like MS Narayana, Dharmavarapu, Gowtam Raju etc are adequate.

The comedy is almost average and the ManiSharma's music is Little Bit disappointing. His tunes remind us of his own turns scored in early 2000’s. ‘Naa Maharani’ song is best to listen and also in the terms of picturization. The first song is also shot well. A Telugu song is shot in Ladakh after a long gap. Dialogues are adequate. Stunts are alright. Production values are grand. But Choreography is superb and adds zing to the Songs.

The director Saban tried to carve PISTA into a blockbuster. But the Routine weak storyline makes it a bit pulled out and the movie may not live to the expected run in the theatres.Story of the movie is pretty old. The director has taken the beaten path to write the screenplay for the movie by stuffing ample commercial elements. He made sure that there are all emotions like comedy, sentiment, action and romance. The way hero is introduced is good and the interval twist is also nice. The director could not script the duel between Vishal and Prakash Raj characters in the second half well.

Analysis:

First half of the film is adequate with the right mix of commercial elements. Interval twist is good. Second half goes awry because the battle between hero and villain is not interesting. The climax of the movie offers heavy duty stunts. The plus points are lead pair, Ali’s comedy and commercial elements. The negative point is in the second halfall the scenes involving Shriya in second half are unnecessary. Hence the movie loses its steam in the second half. Producer Vikram Krishna has spent crores of rupees on painting the entire AP red with vinyl hoardings and posters of Pista. It resulted in grand openings for Pista. The long run of the movie will depend on how the masses (especially B and C center crowds) embrace it
