Nag's 'Rajanna' Releases on Sept 30!

Nagarjuna produces a self-acclaimed 'Rajanna' under the banner of Annapurna Studios. The film is being directed by Vijayendra Prasad for the first time and the songs, the action scenes and climax were shot under the directorial supervision of SS Rajamouli. MM Keeravani scores the music for this film and the audio would be an asset for the movie.

When asked why yourself have come forward to produce the film, Nagarjuna says, 'I was inspired with the character of Rajanna. It is the story of a freedom fighter. It is a realistic subject which was prepared with four real life incidents. I am very much satisfied with the character of Rajanna. Vijayendra Prasad dealt with the character in a nice manner. Especially, an eight-year-old baby's character would be very important and Baby Yeni lived in the character. Her role had lots of prominence in Rajanna story.

We created huge sets that reminds the villages during the freedom struggle and art director created an atmosphere of the then times. The shooting of the film is almost complete and I am excited for the release of the film. Undoubtedly, the film would have a universal appeal, because of its patriotic feel.' It is learnt that the producers are making efforts to release the film on September 30 across the country and overseas on a grand scale.

The first look poster of Rajanna was released on the occasion of Nagarjuna's birthday on August 29. Plans are afoot to release the audio in the second week of September in a different and novel way

Tollywood Megastar turned politician Chiranjeevi has given the green signal for his 150th film in Telugu. In recent months the news making rounds but it did not materialize. Now Mega Star Chiranjeevi himself confirmed this news in Rangam 100 days function events held at Tirupathi.

Chiranjeevi said that that he would be acting in a new movie that would be produced by his son Ram Charan Tej. He also added that with the interest of his brother Nagababu and also his fans, I am back into the movies again, said by Chiru. And the buzz is that Adinayakudu title is under consideration for Chiru’s 150th film.

Other details of the cast and crew of the film not yet revealed and soon we might get the more details about the film. As per the Puri Jagannath will going to direct this film.

Katrina Kaif in 'Dhoom 3'?

Contrary to reports that Yash Raj team is looking for and talking about Hollywood beauties like Eva Longoria and Penelope Cruz for Dhoom 3, there are reports that they are still waiting for their original choice Katrina Kaif to give the green light to the film.

Already Katrina has her hands full of films like 'Ek Tha Tiger' with Salman Khan and Yash Chopra's directional venture with Shah Rukh Khan. Reportedly Katrina has already signed the film and the official notification has yet been made. Following the Kareena Kapoor way, Katrina will be a great lady who will be working with the top three Khans in a year.

Just like bebo will be seen with Salman in ‘Bodyguard’, Shah Rukh in ‘Ra.One’ and Aamir in Reema Kagti’s ‘Zakhmi’ in a short span, Kat too will be seen in Salman’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, Shah Rukh’s Yash Chopra project and Aamir’s ‘Dhoom 3’. Jr NTR's uppcoming movie titled as 'Oosaravelli', The film unit had confirmed this title. Jr NTR, Tamanna starrer movie 'Oosaravelli' is directed by Surender Reddy and produced by BVSN Prasad under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra India Pvt Ltd. The unit is busy in shooting and it is progressing at a very fast pace.

Speaking on the occasion, the producer says, "We had confirmed the title "Oosaravelli". The Shooting the film is currently being at hard pace and the film had a strong story and is being made with great technical values. NTR's performance in this film would be the highlight and we are planning to wrap up all the formalities and we are making efforts to release the film as Vijayadasami gift.'

The audiences too had high expectations on the movie especially in the wake of a disaster like 'Shakti'. Tamanna is pairing up with the hero, while Prakash Raj, Tanikella Bharani, Vidoot Jamwal, Adwik Mahajan, Payal Ghosh, Ali, Jayaprakash Reddy, Raghubabu, MS Narayana, Duvvasi Mohan, Raghu Karumanchi and others are in the cast.
