Story:

A complicated portrayed tale, the story begins with Sneha (sneha)who is studying in college, daughter of a judge (charanraj). Her life takes a turn with the arrival of Sushanth(sushanth) who falls in love with her at first sight. He starts following her and finally Sneha also develops feelings for him.Sushanth is a carefree youth who doesn't worry about yesterdays, tomorrows and lives in the "current" moment and does not believe in planning and has a very lazy approach towards life.He shows the same attitude in front of Sneha's father when he meets him.As expected, Sneha's father gives his piece of mind and Sushanth walks away getting offended,he does not listen to Sneha either.Sneha's dad (Charan Raj) notes that Sushanth is totally irresponsible, and Sneha asks Sushanth to change his attitude for their love but Sushanth says he'd not. This leads to their separation.Sneha comes back to him and admits he created love in her mind and thus he should take it off tooTherefore, she tells Sushanth that since he was responsible for raising feelings in her, now he must ensure that she gets rid of that feeling called love. What does Sushanth do now? does he really love her?

what happens to the love story between Bose (vennela kishore) and Geetha (geetha)? All this forms the rest

of the story.

Presentation:

The director was attempted to come up with a twisted tale of romance and responsiblity of life though the presentation was okay, it was the narrative that turned to be a let down. The dialogues were too weak, the
script was not written with conviction and the screenplay was average. The music was so-so and two songs
were worth humming. The story point - of male lead erasing the love in the female lead's mind because he
originally created it - may be seen to be novel conceptually, but the director fails in bringing the novelty into
the visual treatment. With routine family backdrops and routine scenes, the first half is just average. The
second half drags on too, spare some comedy. On the whole, the translation from ink to celluloid is where the film fails.

Music department is just okay, with only two appreciable songs. Editing is the asset of the film. Vijay C. Kumar tries to bring as much color and life into the visuals as is possible. Production values have not been compromised for quality, and the producers are involved more than with producing (one with costumes and another with story development), proving that they want to make a sincere attempt. Debutant director Surya Prathap, who assisted Allari Ravibabu and Sukumar in the past, only comes up with a passable impression through his direction of Current.Cinematography was reasonable and editing was needed at few points but got brittle. Costumes were apt and the art department was also effective. Coming to the cast, Sushanth has got a set of expressions and he does not come out of them, he needs to work on being more flexible with that. Sneha Ullal was gorgeous as usual and so was her body language which required more feel. Geetha looked beautiful and she has got good scope. Vennela Kishore was neat, Tanikella was upto the mark, Charanraj did not have much to do, Brahmanandam was just okay, the others did their bit as required.

Conclusion:

Current has a seemingly novel concept but falters in presenting it well. The hero's improved avatar is
appreciable. The film looked to be a romantic entertainer but then the twists and the theme of the movie got so thick that at one point, the audience fails to understand what exactly about the story that theis no message. There were a few points which were questionable. The movie has good moments, the consistency was lacking. Overall, the film is good in parts but it could have been better if comedy and the emotion part was focused more. This is a treat for the youth audience mostly.Current has a seemingly novel concept butfalters in presenting it well. The hero's improved avatar is appreciable, and so are the departments of camera, editing, and production. On the whole, it's a passable film. This is a treat for the youth audience mostly
