Vedam Movie Releasing on jun 4

Much awaited multi starrer film "Vedam" has completed its censor formalities and is all set to hit the screens worldwide on June 4th. It has Allu Arjun, Manhcu Manoj, Anushka in main lead roles. This film directed by Jagarlamudi Radhakrishna aka Krish and music composes by MM Keeravaani. It is produced by Prasad Devineni and Shobhu Yarlagadda under Arka Media Works banner.

Prabhas In Lawrence Direction New Movie!

As per the sources Choreographer turned director turned actor Lawrence is going to direct a movie with Rebel star Prabhas.
 

The details of the project are not yet confirmed, but as per the sources Lawrence is ready with a good script that will suit for Prabhas and Prabhas also given the green signal for this project. The top producer is also interesting to produce this film.
 
Currently, Lawrence is busy with his new directorial film ‘Kanchana’, a sequel to ‘Muni’ in which he himself plays the lead role and Anushka pairing with him. Lawrence was directed films like ‘Mass’, ‘Don’, ‘Style’, ‘Muni’ in past.

Sonma Kapoor Rejected Maniratnam

Sonam Kapoor got a chance to work in Mani Ratnam’s next film recently, but she says no to Mani Ratnam because that film is not directing by Mani Ratnam. That film will be directed by his long time associate Shiva.
 

The film stars Vivek Oberoi. Mani and Shiva felt Sonam was the apt choice and Mani even had a meeting with Sonam about the same. After a couple of more meetings, Sonam politely declined the offer, stating date problems as an issue,” said a source. However, a close friend of Sonam said, “Sonam wanted to work with Mani Ratnam and was excited when she went to meet him. But she was disappointed when she learnt that Mani was offering her Shiva’s film and not his.”
 
Interestingly, Sonam’s ex-boy friend and co-star of her debut film Saawariya, Ranbir Kapoor, also opted out of Shiva’s film citing the same reasons.

Simbu Abused Mani Rathnam

Heroes and starry airs go hand in hand and there are some noted names for that. One among them is the Kollywood hero Simbu. He is known for his hot headed nature and there were instances wherein heroines were scared to pair up with him since they knew his violent temper.

This time, the victim of Simbu’s anger seems to be Mani Ratnam. Reports from Chennai have revealed that recently, Simbu called up Mani and blasted him. Apparently, the young star was said to be in an inebriated condition and was rolling out a smooth flow of abuses.

It is heard that Simbu was unhappy that Vikram was given chance to act with Aishwarya instead of him. It seems Simbu also reminded that he was the best bet for the role and why it was given for Vikram. Well, Mani was patiently hearing Simbu out over the phone, as per sources. The next morning, Simbu realized what he had done and was said to be very sorry. Apparently, he was having his eyes on Aishwarya since long and felt that a good opportunity slipped away.

Jr NTR’s "Shakthi" Releasing in December!

Jr NTR’s latest upcoming film "Shakti" has completed its shooting schedule in Jaipur recently. Currently the song is canning in RFC on Jr NTR and Ileana. As per the sources ‘Shakti’ unit will leave to Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir for its third schedule of its shooting in the month of June.
 

The latest news is that the film is going to hit the screens on December 24th.
 
Mehar Ramesh is directing the film and C.Ashwini Dutt is producing the Movie under ’Vyjayanthi Movies’ Banner. Mani Sharma is composing the music.

Hrithik To Play As Roman Emperor

He’s played the role of Mughal ruler Akbar in Jodhaa Akbar, and now the Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan is all set to play a Roman emperor in a new TV commercial.
 
Directed by Indrajit Nattoji, the ad is for cookie brand Milano for which Hrithik is the brand ambassador.
 
"Set against a background of 10,000 warriors, we are almost filming a Gladiator (movie) in 30 seconds… We’ll be going the way of the Hollywood hit 300… 20 extra warriors are going to multiply into 10,000 (and) putting Hrithik in an uber cool period, packaging in 30 seconds was a high," Nattoji said in a statement.
 
"I was also influenced by his classical good looks reminiscent of a Greek god," added the director who admits Hrithik’s regal bearing as a Mughal emperor in Jodhaa Akbar helped in determining his new avatar.
 
The first phase of the ad has been shot in Mehboob Studios in Mumbai and the second phase that involves a war scene is scheduled to begin in Gran Sasso Campo, 150 km from Rome, around mid May.
 
Hrithik’s costume for ad has been designed by Sanjeev Mulchandani.
 
The post-production of the ad will be done in Malaysia.

Manchu Manoj Gave Love Letter To Balayya Babu's Daughter

If sources in Filmnagar are believed, Mohan Babu is these days more concentrating on getting into a family relation with Nandamuri’s by asking Balayya’s daughter Tejaswini’s hand for Manchu Manoj.

 

As per the sources Mohan Babu's son Manchu Manoj Kumar is in deeply love with Tejaswini, the second daughter of Nandamuri Balakrishna. Recently Tejaswin was very much shocked when Manoj gave her love letter.

 

She asked him to to ask her parents instead of pestering her. Then her mother Vasundhara too came to know of this incident and chided her to not to talk to him at all. Balakrishna too is not happy with Mohan Babu's family for this and after this incident the distance between both the families have increased.

 

This might be the reason that Mohan Babu has not attended the engagement of Jr NTR and also for Simha audio function.

Pavan Kalyan's 'Komarum Puli' Releasing In June?

Now that the two biggies of the summer season ‘Darling’ and ‘Simha’ have registered their place in average league, the time has come for the focus on a new venture. This is ‘Komaram Puli’ which has power star Pawan Kalyan along with new heroine Nikesha Patel.
However, it was actually announced that the film would be hitting the screens on May 3rd week but now, it is a different story. Inside sources close to the unit members say that the shooting of the film will get delayed and there are few technical reasons for the delay. 
So now, the new time has been given as the month of June for the release. As it is, the film is running behind schedules so all are hoping that Pawan does his best in the film and makes up for the delay. Get set for ‘Komaram Puli’ during the rainy season folks.
