PISTA was a much hyped and was released with a High expectations. But the movie’s Script disappoints the Vishal Fans as Well As Audience of Mass n Masala Movie Fan club. The subject looks Old, Stale and Dry. There is nothing New to Expect to the watching crowds. Few Action Sequences and Shriya’s Sexy Appeal 'n' Body Show In the Songs Had Never Seen Before Makes the mass crowds a bit happy.

Story:

The movie starts with a young and dynamic man in the opening frame. He is the hero Murali Krishna (Vishal) who hails from a small town. He is in search of his elder brother who runs away from the dwelling. The reason for his escape is said to be his mother’s anguish. When the hero and the hero’s elder brother are in their child hood days, Murali Krishna’s elder brother pierces a name tattoo of a girl called Meenakshi on his chest. On seeing it, Murali Krishna’s mother (Geeta) thrashes him severely. For this reason, the young boy runs away from the house.

Murali Krishna promises To his mother that he will find out his elder brother’s traced and will bring him back to her. In a search to find him, Murali lands up in Vizag and stays in a room of his friend Ali.

Incidentally, a young beautiful,Charming girl Indu (Shriya) meets Krishna and after some time they both fall in love. Shriya's costumes in the songs are too hot to handle. She looks so Hot and Sexy in this Movie. Meanwhile, there are two noted Rowdy Sheeters in Vizag. who are more than evils and ruling the Vizag. Surya Prakash (Prakash Raj) and another named Guru (Kishore) control the evil deeds in Vizag. Guru is a real estate broker who occupies lands of innocent people.

Vishal somehow gets involved in a brawl with the two gangsters and traces out that the dreaded Rowdy Guru is his elder brother. He tries to convince Guru(His Brother) that his profession is wrong and narrates the whole past of them. He somehow manages to bring out Guru into the good path. But what happens in the end is a suspense which has to be Watch on a Silver screen.

Performances:

Vishal looks Young , handsome, Dynamic and Brave in this movie. In his last Movie He Exposed Himself With Six Pack Boby and as usual offers his 100% to the movie’s storyline. His character is heroic and well enough to be labeled as a perfect man. He is impeccable in performing Action and dancing Sequences.

Shriya adds the Romantic Touch and glamour to the movie With her Skin show and Apeearance in songs. has nothing to worry, she's going to be a glamour doll in this movie. Her tempting costumes raise the temperatures of The Audience Especially Shriya Fans in the theatre. Ironically, most of her costumes display her cleavage to full extent and her naval to a major part. Moreover, the collar bones and the jaw line of her, and her Beautiful Face is a superb addition to her impeccable beauty.

Prakash Raj plays the role of a don perfectly,And Performed Extremely Well in His Role As Usual, but this is for the first time that he is not seen in a Devil role. Tannikella Bharani acts as a support villain Role and plays well his character. Kishore impresses with his sharp features and fine performance. Ali provides ample comic relief in this movie. Telangana Sakuntala is seen in an entertaining role in Telugu movies after a long gap. Other stop-gap Telugu actors like MS Narayana, Dharmavarapu, Gowtam Raju etc are adequate.

The comedy is almost average and the ManiSharma's music is Little Bit disappointing. His tunes remind us of his own turns scored in early 2000’s. ‘Naa Maharani’ song is best to listen and also in the terms of picturization. The first song is also shot well. A Telugu song is shot in Ladakh after a long gap. Dialogues are adequate. Stunts are alright. Production values are grand. But Choreography is superb and adds zing to the Songs.

The director Saban tried to carve PISTA into a blockbuster. But the Routine weak storyline makes it a bit pulled out and the movie may not live to the expected run in the theatres.Story of the movie is pretty old. The director has taken the beaten path to write the screenplay for the movie by stuffing ample commercial elements. He made sure that there are all emotions like comedy, sentiment, action and romance. The way hero is introduced is good and the interval twist is also nice. The director could not script the duel between Vishal and Prakash Raj characters in the second half well.

Analysis:

First half of the film is adequate with the right mix of commercial elements. Interval twist is good. Second half goes awry because the battle between hero and villain is not interesting. The climax of the movie offers heavy duty stunts. The plus points are lead pair, Ali’s comedy and commercial elements. The negative point is in the second halfall the scenes involving Shriya in second half are unnecessary. Hence the movie loses its steam in the second half. Producer Vikram Krishna has spent crores of rupees on painting the entire AP red with vinyl hoardings and posters of Pista. It resulted in grand openings for Pista. The long run of the movie will depend on how the masses (especially B and C center crowds) embrace it
